BTW. my marginated tortoises eat the field horsetail every now and then in their pen. As it is a medicinal herb, I do not think it might be harmful for them.

The field horsetail is indeed a good fooder for the torts, but be careful because it looks similar to the marsh horsetail which is POISONOUS!
